Challenge Hints Feature Release
Hello everyone, we hope your AppSec journey is going well.
We’re excited to announce the release of our latest feature: Challenge Hints!
The new Hints button on your Challenge Status page will give you access to a range of hints that can help you tackle the challenges.
There are three types of hints available:

Free Hints: These hints are available for everyone and for free without penalty.

Public Hints: Hints that are available to all users, but they have a score penalty on them.

Private Hints: Hints with a lock on them that are available to subscribed users
To unlock these hints, you must have an initial score in that game category. Don’t worry if you’re just starting out – Introduction, Setup, and StartHere categories add up to 20 points, which can help you unlock easier hints for the challenges.
The hints range from small tidbits and facts about the security vulnerability, to write-ups, courses, sources, and even sample solutions for the challenges. The score penalty is applied in proportion to the size of the hint.
